Assists the Lighting Maintenance Technician in annual maintenance and restoration of theatrical lighting fixtures withing the L.P. Young Student Center.
Duties/Responsibilities
Cleaning and Maintenance of Lighting Fixtures.
Creating Supply lists and Inventory
Working at elevation using scaffolding and scissor lift.
Operating the lightboard/programming and patching DMX.
Transport of supplies from one location to another as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience
Associates degree in Theatre Technology or a related industry plus some experience with theatrical lighting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Communication, Safety, DMX, Lighting Fixtures and Control systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors in Theatre Technology or a related industry.
