Are you passionate about light, space, and design? Are you eager to learn how architectural concepts are transformed into meaningful lighting experiences? Join us as a Lighting Designer Intern in Milano, where you will support the development of innovative, human‑centric lighting solutions across architectural, commercial, and outdoor projects.
Working closely with experienced lighting designers, architects, and engineers, you will gain hands‑on experience throughout the design process, from early concept development to technical documentation and on‑site support. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to build technical skills, strengthen creative thinking, and develop a strong foundation in professional lighting design practice.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of lighting concepts and design solutions based on client requirements, architectural plans, and project objectives.
  • Assist in creating lighting layouts, concepts, and control system schematics using design and graphic software such as AutoCAD, Dialux, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop
  • Support the selection of lighting fixtures, technologies, and control strategies to meet functional, aesthetic, energy‑efficiency, and sustainability goals.
  • Assist in ensuring designs align with relevant lighting standards, codes, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Support the preparation of presentations, mood boards, and visual materials for internal reviews and client meetings.
  • Participate in on‑site inspections and follow‑ups to verify correct installation and alignment with design intent.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or current enrollment) in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting design software (e.g., Dialux, AutoCAD, Revit) and graphic tools is a plus.
  • Fundamental understanding of lighting principles, color theory, and lighting control systems.
  • Creative mindset combined with technical curiosity and problem‑solving skills.
  • Good communication and presentation abilities.
  • Motivation to learn, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Ability to communicate in Italian and English is mandatory.

We encourage you to apply even if you do not meet all the requirements. Your motivation and potential matter more than perfection.
