About Us

Mineco is a leading national civil and mining services company operating across the East Coast of Australia. We deliver comprehensive solutions to Tier 1 clients, including bulk dozer push, coal quality and recovery, mobile crushing, civil works, and rehabilitation services. Operating from our Head Office in Beresfield, a fully equipped Muswellbrook workshop, and a Queensland operations office, we support major sites across NSW and QLD.

We are currently expanding our maintenance team and have an opportunity for a Light Vehicle Mechanic to join the team. In this role, you'll work independently maintaining our fleet of light vehicles while also gaining hands-on exposure to our in-house Mineco-owned and operated large-scale civil and mining equipment.

About the role

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on Mineco's fleet of light vehicles.
• Assist Plant Mechanics with the servicing, repair and maintenance of large-scale civil and mining equipment.
• Work alongside experienced tradespeople to develop your skills and gain exposure to the mining industry.
• Learn diagnostic and fault-finding techniques across both light vehicles and heavy equipment.
• Maintain a safe, organised work environment and complete all work to a high standard.

The successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
• Post-trade experience servicing and repairing light vehicles.

A strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
