Position

Industrial Light EquipmentOperatorswill operateoneormoreconstructionequipment suchasbutnot limitedtobackhoe, tractor, skid steer andforklifts. They will also be responsible for safety, equipment inspections, and possibly assisting with repairs. The position will be expected to assist other crafts in their down times which may include non-operating activities.

• Willoperatevariousconstructiondirtequipmenttomovetheearthandequipmentinprecision processes.

• Willinspectequipment.

• Willberesponsibleforallsafetyaspectsofoperatingtheequipment.

• Mayfollowsignaldirectionsfromasignalerinequipmentoperations.

• Willaccessareaofoperationsforsafetyissuesandrequiredprocessesandplanningofequipment operations.

Required Qualifications

• Must have experience and knowledge of operating varies construction equipment including but notlimitedtobackhoe, tractor, skid steer andforklifts

• Musthavebasicmechanicalknowledgeandillustratetheabilitiestoinspectequipment.

• Musthaveknowledgeofandbefamiliarwithsoiltypes.

• Mustillustrateknowledgeofexcavatingandthespecificationsthatarerequiredforagiven excavation.

• Mustbeabletofollowinstructionscorrectly.

• Mustbereliable,accountable,andconsistentinperformingadministrativeprocessessuchasbut not limited to equipment inspection paperwork.

• Mustbewillingandabletofollowallinstructedsafetyregulations.

• Mustbeabletomakeittoworkontimeandworkthedesignatedscheduleandanyovertimeas needed with the proper notification.

• ValidDriver’sLicense.
