  • Perform intermediate to advanced mechanical, drivability, and electrical diagnostics using scan tools and electrical testing methods.
  • Complete major repairs including cylinder heads, transmissions, upper oil pans, injectors, turbochargers, and cab-off repairs.
  • Perform Cummins front timing cover repairs and DCR conversion kit installations.
  • Diagnose electrical concerns including voltage drops, shorts to ground, shorts to power, and vehicle communication issues.
  • Perform maintenance, inspections, component removal and replacement, and general diesel repair.
  • Document clear technician notes and build assigned jobs in the shop management system.
  • Complete digital vehicle inspections; prior DVI experience is preferred, and training is available.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant technician experience.
  • Strong hands-on light-duty diesel experience, particularly with Ford Power Stroke and Ram/Dodge Cummins trucks.
  • Intermediate to advanced diagnostic ability across mechanical, drivability, and electrical concerns.
  • Ability to independently complete major diesel repairs, including cab-off work.
  • Experience using professional diagnostic equipment; the shop uses tools including Autel and Snap-on ZEUS.
  • Ability to supply the personal tools required to perform assigned technician work.
  • Chevrolet Duramax experience is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Two pay-plan options: $60 per flagged hour OR $500 weekly base plus $40 per flagged hour.
  • Employer-provided estimated annual earning potential of $80,000-$150,000. Actual earnings depend on productivity and the selected pay plan and are not guaranteed.
  • Expected production of 30+ flagged hours per week.
  • Weekly pay.
  • Productivity bonus opportunities; details are discussed during the hiring process.
  • Five sick days after six months of employment.
  • Five vacation days after one year of employment.
  • Paid training and ASE certification reimbursement.
  • Uniforms available for technicians who want them.
  • Toolbox relocation assistance is available.

Why Work Here

  • Limited mobile work compared with many diesel repair environments.
  • 16-bay operation with three lifts and an alignment rack.
  • Approximately 20-25 vehicles serviced per week, with a primary focus on diesel work.
  • Tight-knit team with a shop foreman supporting the technician team and workflow.
