The Lifting Supervisor ensures that all lifting operations are carried out safely and in accordance with company and international standards. The role involves planning and supervising lifting activities, ensuring that cranes, slings, shackles, and other lifting equipment are inspected and certified before use. The supervisor will brief the lifting team before each operation, verify the lift plan, monitor ground conditions, and ensure exclusion zones are maintained. The position requires coordination with engineers, riggers, and safety officers to guarantee safe execution of lifting activities under all site conditions.
Qualifications & Experience:
Valid 3rd-party Lifting Supervisor certification.
Thorough understanding of LEEA, OSHA, and QCS lifting standards.
Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in construction or industrial lifting operations.
Strong leadership, observation, and communication skills.
Ability to assess risks and implement corrective measures during lifting activities.
