Lifting Construction Manager
Manpower
Hinkley Point C


Main Duties:


Leading rigging and lifting teams through superintendents, driving performance and accountability
Driving productivity, attendance, and working standards across the workforce
Owning forward planning, including 16-week lookahead schedules for lifting activities
Forecasting labour requirements and aligning resources to programme delivery
Promoting a strong nuclear safety culture through leadership, inspections, and compliance


Requirements:


CPCS Blue Card and ECITB Appointed Person certification (TAP01) - essential
NVQ Level 3 in Steel Erecting or Moving Loads - desirable
IOSH, SMSTS or SSSTS safety qualifications - desirable
Holding significant experience leading lifting and rigging operations on major construction projects
Demonstrating senior leadership capability managing large teams in high‑pressure environments
Operating within highly regulated or high‑hazard industries such as nuclear, defence or infrastructure
Managing workforce performance, productivity frameworks and delivery targets
Collaborating effectively with multiple stakeholders across complex project environments
