Stanton is seeking experienced and safety focused Pole Lift Truck Operators to join our distribution team. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, and loading of carpet rolls using a lift truck equipped with a pole attachment. Candidates with prior experience in the carpet industry and a strong commitment to safety and quality are highly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a lift truck equipped with a 12 foot pole attachment in a fast paced warehouse environment.
• Accurately maneuver the pole into a 4 inch carpet core at floor level and at heights of up to 28 feet.
• Mount and dismount the lift truck regularly to unwrap carpet rolls in preparation for processing or shipment.
• Transport carpet rolls throughout the warehouse using forward and reverse operations while maintaining load stability and awareness of surroundings.
• Load and unload carpet rolls on and off ocean containers and trailers using the pole lift truck.
• Lift and replace propane tanks weighing up to 45 lbs for equipment refueling.
• Operate, or be willing to learn to operate, radio frequency (RF) terminals and scanners integrated with the lift truck for inventory and order accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating a pole lift truck within the carpet industry.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a warehouse environment.
• Physical ability to meet job demands, including climbing on and off equipment and lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technology and operational processes.
