The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm.
The Fitzgerald, Georgia plant is a significant contributor to the U.S. peanut supply, producing approximately 50% of the nation’s peanuts and 108 million pounds of peanut butter annually. The site employs approximately 250 employees and plays an important role in both the local economy and the broader food supply chain.
Located in the heart of Fitzgerald, the community is known for its welcoming small‑town feel and unique local character. The city is famously home to wild chickens that freely roam the downtown area- so much so that the town hosts an annual Wild Chicken Festival in their honor. Post Consumer Brands, is a leading Manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of private label food products. We supply peanut butter to leading grocery retailers, top food service distributors, and industrial bakeries across North America. Our Fitzgerald, GA location has an opening for Operator II. The position will be filled by candidates who can consistently maintain a good attendance record and meet production standards while working on manufacturing equipment within a Food Manufacturing facility. A focus on health and safety and food safety are key.
