Job Description

๐ŸŒ Our mission

We donโ€™t only maintain lifts and escalators โ€” we transform how theyโ€™re operated.

At WeMaintain, we build tech that empowers the people who keep cities running, making building maintenance smarter, faster, and more human.

๐Ÿ”ง Why join us?

You donโ€™t have to choose between autonomy and stability

Big companies offer structure but little ownership or recognition.
Small companies offer freedom but not always clear direction or long-term support.

At WeMaintain, you get both:

  • Autonomy backed by real support and modern tools
  • A culture of trust, transparency, and respect
  • Career growth and opportunities for internal mobility
  • A team that values grit, perseverance, and the drive to make a real impact

Our values come to life every day:

๐Ÿค Care โ€” Respect and support for clients and colleagues
๐Ÿ’ช Grit โ€” Persistence and high standards to get things done right
๐ŸŒฑ Uniqueness โ€” Encouragement to share ideas and challenge the status quo

๐Ÿ‘€ Who weโ€™re looking for

We are seeking a Lift Technician who delivers exceptional service and technical support. This role is perfect for someone with a high standard of engineering expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to safety.

๐Ÿ“Œ What Will Your Future Role Be?

Field:

  • Deliver first-class service to our customers, demonstrating a higher standard of engineering than the industry standard
  • Provide technical support to field engineers
  • Actively communicate with our clients about the status of their equipment
  • Always prioritise safety and encourage safe behaviours in others

Team:

  • Provide technical training to our existing pool of engineers
  • Define and implement the team culture
  • Ensure our values of "care, grit, uniqueness" are always demonstrated
  • Share knowledge with the team in London and internationally

Others:

  • Coordinate with Ops and Tech teams to ensure the service is delivered to the highest standard
  • Coordinate with the Product team to ensure the release of appropriate features for the local market
  • Follow, understand, and implement the latest regulations

๐Ÿ‘‘ You Are the Right Person for Us If:

  • You have extensive experience as a lift engineer with a proven track record of delivering high-quality service
  • You possess strong technical skills and can provide support to fellow engineers
  • You have excellent communication abilities and can effectively liaise with clients and team members
  • You prioritise safety in all your operations and encourage others to do the same
  • You are committed to our values and can demonstrate them in your work
  • You are open to sharing knowledge and collaborating with both local and international teams
  • You can coordinate with various teams to ensure the highest standards of service delivery
  • You stay updated on and implement the latest industry regulations

About WeMaintain

At WeMaintain, we believe smarter buildings start with the right people + tech.

Founded in 2017 in Paris, we set out to fix what was broken in building operations: outdated processes, limited data, and a system that often overlooked the people who make buildings work.

We combine AI-driven insights, in-house IoT technology, and field expertise to deliver predictive maintenance and modernisation solutions for lifts, escalators, fire safety systems, and automatic doors.

Our product ecosystem supports every stakeholder:

โ€“ An App built for engineers in the field

โ€“ A customer platform for asset managers and building owners

โ€“ A back-office system for operations teams

โ€“ And Maximize, our independent IoT monitoring solution providing predictive insights across all equipment types, brands, and models.

With this end-to-end approach, clients can optimize performance, ensure compliance, and make smarter decisions, backed by real-time data and transparent reporting.

Today, we operate in France, the UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong, driven by the same mission that inspired us from day one: To empower the people behind the machines with smart tools and real autonomy, transforming traditional maintenance into seamless, data-driven operations.

Weโ€™re not just maintaining buildings, we're leading the building operation transformation.
