Position Overview

Love working with people and helping introduce new skiers and snowboarders to the mountain? As the Fun Zone Lift Operations Lead at Mt. Hood Meadows, you’ll play an important role in creating a safe, welcoming, and seamless experience for beginner guests. You’ll help lead operations at our beginner and fun zone lifts, keeping Lift Operations and the Mt. Hood Learning Center connected and ready for busy lesson days.

This hands-on leadership role combines lift operations, employee coaching, and coordination between departments. You’ll help train and support lift crews, coordinate staffing and guest flow during peak periods, troubleshoot ticket access issues, and work closely with the Learning Center to ensure lessons get off to a smooth start. Your communication, planning, and ability to anticipate needs will help both teams deliver an excellent experience for guests and employees.

We’re looking for an experienced Lift Operations team member with strong communication skills, a safety-first mindset, and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced mountain environment. If you enjoy supporting your teammates, solving problems, and helping the next generation of skiers and snowboarders fall in love with the mountain, this could be the role for you!
