Job Description

Find your line at Mt. Hood Meadows, where we turn passion into purpose by delivering unforgettable experiences in one of the Pacific Northwest’s most stunning mountain settings. We believe in creating moments that matter — for our guests, for each other, and for the community. Apply today and join a team that fully embodies the mountain lifestyle.

Position Overview

Experience the mountain after dark and be part of the team that keeps the stoke going! As a Night Lift Operator at Mt. Hood Meadows, you’ll play a key role in safely transporting guests up the mountain while creating a friendly, welcoming experience at the lift. Working primarily in the afternoon and evening (typically 2:30 pm – 9:45 pm), you’ll help keep the mountain running smoothly through the unique rhythm of night operations.

You’ll operate your assigned chairlift, safely assist guests with loading and unloading, monitor your lift station, perform snow removal, and respond to changing weather and mountain conditions. You’ll work both independently and alongside other Lift Operations team members, following established operational and emergency procedures while maintaining clear communication with guests and your team.

If you’re a night person who loves being outside, enjoys working with people, and wants a job that puts you right in the middle of the mountain experience, this is a great opportunity to join the Lift Operations team for the winter season. You’ll get to experience Mt. Hood Meadows after dark, work alongside a team that knows how to spread the Perpetual Stoke, and potentially transition to day crew as the night season winds down.
