Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is a division of Canada’s largest privately held hospitality company, Northland Properties Corporation (NPC), and since its inception in 2007, we have gained a reputation for big mountain riding, legendary powder and an authentic Canadian resort town.

This is a full-time, year-round position. As the Lift Operations Assistant Supervisor, you'll be required to assist the Lift Operations Supervisor hire, train and schedule a team of Lift Operators and Coaster Attendants. You will report directly to the Lift Operations Supervisor and Manager.
Responsibilities:
• Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude that supports a strong team culture
• Help coordinate the day-to-day operation of RMR's winter and summer season.

• Assist with general supervision tasks such as: staff training, scheduling, payroll, departmental documentation, etc.
• Supervision of approximately 50+ full & part-time staff.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism in the department.
• Respect and adherence to RMR’s company policies & protocols, as well as industry, provincial and federal standards.
• Coordinate Lift Operations with other departments on the mountain.
• Constant worker observation and attention to employees.
• Help maintain a comprehensive Occupational Health and Safety program.
• Lead the Lift Operations team by aiding in daily set up, operation, and take down of Lifts and other workspaces on and off the mountain.

Required Qualifications and Abilities:
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Provide proof of SIN # - can be physical card or document provided by Canadian Government
• Previous lift operations experience.
• Experience with detachable high-speed lifts.
• Experience with building and performing training exercises.
• Experience in a supervisory role.
• Current driver’s license and acceptable driver’s abstract.
• Occupational First Aid Level 1 an asset.
• Have an advanced level skiing or snowboarding.
• Have Lift-150 Train the trainer course completed. (Optional / Preferred)
• Knowledge about RMR and our operation an asset
