Compensation:

• ​$65,000

Lifestyle Manager Responsibilities:

Build a sense of community and increased engagement by orchestrating and executing community activities and events, community newsletter, resident directories, social media and web-based communication management. Work directly with management company leaders, the Board and community volunteers to achieve the vision of the community. Due to the nature of this position, some evening and weekend hours will be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Creating, planning, promoting, and executing a comprehensive community event and programming calendar for residents.
• Creating content and managing community communications – website, newsletters, promotional materials, social media accounts, etc.
• Producing, maintaining, and following an annual budget for activity income and expenses.
• Establishing and nurturing partnerships with local organizations and businesses and create sponsorship opportunities for the benefit of residents and the overall community.
• Overseeing the operation of the amenities as it pertains to community events.
• Developing and implementing general policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain a viable network of volunteers.

BOARD/COMMITTEE/CLUB LIAISON:

• Attend monthly meetings and provide recommendations/feedback as required.
• Triage and implement requests as received.
• Acquire needed resources and provide prompt and professional communication.

Qualifications

SKILLS:

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Creative thinking and efficient problem solving.
• Ability to deal with a large variety of individuals in a business-like and professional manner.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and handle a large number of tasks at the same time.
• Ability to stay on task amidst frequent interruptions.

EQUIPMENT:

• Proficiency in use of computer, copier, fax machine, scanner, and telephone systems.
• Proficiency in various software applications to include desktop publishing, Microsoft Office, social media, and online communication platforms.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college preferred.
• Candidates should have 3-4 years of professional experience in event planning, recreation programming, public relations or other related experience and 2 years of professional experience with creating and managing communications.
