Aspire Hub is a trusted and growing NDIS provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support. We are preparing to open a new supported accommodation property in the coming months and are seeking experienced Lifestyle Assistants with a strong background in complex care to join our team.

Please note: This is an Expression of Interest only Roles will commence once the service opens, and timeframes may vary.

About the Role

This role is ideal for individuals experienced in supporting participants with high and complex needs, including physical, mental health, and behavioural challenges.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality personal care, including complex care supports
  • Supporting medication administration and health-related tasks
  • Implementing behaviour support plans and trauma-informed approaches
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours
  • Assisting with daily living tasks, meal preparation, and household duties
  • Supporting community access and meaningful engagement
  • Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting

About You

You are calm, patient, and confident in complex care environments. You understand the importance of consistency, professional boundaries, and person-centred support.

You will bring:

  • Demonstrated experience supporting individuals with complex needs and behaviours of
    concern
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed care and positive behaviour support
  • Ability to identify triggers and apply effective de-escalation strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for empowering individuals to achieve their goals

Essential Requirements

  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Blue Card
  • National Criminal History Check
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
  • Unlimited working rights in Australia
  • Flexibility to work a range of shifts (including early mornings, sleepovers, and
    weekends)

Highly Regarded

  • Experience with high - intensity supports
  • Relevant qualifications in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services or
    relevant industry experience
  • MAYBO Training is Highly Regarded
