Position Details

Palm Lake Care Bargara is seeking a Lifestyle Assistant to join our team on a Part Time permanent basis, working 75 hours per fortnight across the span of Wednesday - Sunday.

Shifts Available (non negotiable)

Week 1:

Wednesday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

Thursday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

Friday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

Saturday:

Option 1

10.00AM - 6.00PM

or

Option 2

10.00AM - 2.00PM

Sunday: 9.30AM - 1.30PM

Week 2:

Wednesday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

Thursday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

Friday: 10.00AM - 6.00PM

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Clinical Manager and Lifestyle Team Leader to deliver a diverse range of individual and group activities that enrich the lives of our residents. You’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive team, focused on continual improvement and resident wellbeing. Above all, your work will promote dignity, independence, and quality of life for those in our care.

What We’re Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support (or equivalent)
  • A current National Police Check
  • Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC framework
  • Knowledge of Autumn Care (highly regarded but not essential)
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (or working towards)
  • Enthusiasm and creativity to enrich the lives of our residents
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • A compassionate approach and empathy for older people and their families
