Lifestyle & Activities Coordinator

Are you creative, enthusiastic, and passionate about making a real difference in the lives of older adults? We’re looking for a warm, organised, and energetic Lifestyle & Activities Coordinator to join our team and bring meaningful engagement to our residents at Banksia Lodge.

In this rewarding role, you’ll be at the heart of our community. Planning and leading a wide range of activities that promote well being and social connection.

Banksia is a highly respected, single-site not-for-profit and charitable organisation delivering quality aged care services in the beautiful seaside village of Broulee, located on the South Coast of NSW. We provide care and support across three integrated services:

• 121 independent living villas in our retirement village
• An 80-bed residential aged care facility
• Community care services

What you’ll do:

• Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging lifestyle and leisure programs tailored to residents’ interests and abilities.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment by encouraging participation and building positive relationships with residents, families, volunteers, and care teams
• Plan and execute a diverse range of creative activities, events, and experiences that promote connection, enjoyment, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with care teams and families to ensure programs support residents’ individual needs and preferences.
• Organise schedules, resources, and program logistics to deliver smooth and successful activities.
• Use your positive, can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups and create meaningful experiences for residents

What you'll need:

• Creativity and confidence in planning engaging, varied programs
• Compassionate and resident-focused approach
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Experience in aged care, events, recreation, or community engagement
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or currently undertaking the qualification
