Wage Lifeguard: $28.35 - $30.66 per hour (2026)
Instructor Guard: $31.23 - $33.78 per hour (2026)

Department Community Services
Location Lindsay Recreation Complex and/or Forbert Memorial Pool (Bobcaygeon)
Hours Part-time hours range from 4 to 24 hours per week, including days, evenings, and weekends
Other Some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes may be necessary in accordance with job requirements.

Upon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Search, will be required
Mandatory SwimSkills Assessment Candidates selected to move forward in the hiring process must successfully complete a mandatory swim assessment. The assessment will be held during the week of August 20–25, 2026. Applicants should ensure they are available during this period, as attendance is a required part of the selection process.
