
As a Lifeguard II under the supervision of the Aquatics Manager, you will monitor activities, observe and provide assistance to swimmers, prevent accidents, protect life, and enforce regulations, as well as control access to the pool area.
You must be rescue-ready for any emergency; provide care up to the standard of your certification; and assist with general facility maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.Attendance at monthly in-service training is required, ensuring that the Mission of The Salvation Army is effectively carried out.
What You Will Do:
Minimum Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the minimal education, experience, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education Minimum age of 18 years, with at least 6 months of lifeguarding experience preferred.
Background Checks Position requires a background check to be completed, and all background check results will be reviewed.
Experience: Water Safety Instructor experience preferred. Current certification in CPR/AED
Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain The Salvation Army Driver’s qualification standard; must complete Safe From Harm within the first 30 days of employment
