Make a Splash in Our Dedicated Aquatics Team!

Are you enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about water safety and customer service? We are looking for someone like you to join our safety-focused team at the Waitaki Aquatic Centre!

As a Lifeguard, you’ll play a key role in keeping our pool users safe, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable and positive experience. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising pool users to ensure their safety
  • Keeping the facility clean and well-presented
  • Providing friendly, helpful customer service
  • Supporting daily operations and assisting with pool equipment

What You Bring:

  • A positive attitude and great communication skills
  • A friendly and approachable personality
  • High levels of presentation and cleanliness
  • Experience in lifeguarding or water testing (advantageous)
  • Willingness to undertake training
  • A reasonable level of fitness and swimming ability
