AYANA Hospitality is seeking a dedicated and highly trained Lifeguard to join our team at AYANA Komodo. In this essential role, you will ensure the safety of our guests while they enjoy our world-class aquatic facilities. As a Lifeguard, you will monitor pool areas, respond to emergencies, and provide a safe environment for all swimmers. Your commitment to safety and customer service will be paramount in upholding our reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities

• Monitor swimming areas for hazardous conditions, rule infractions, and emergencies.
• Rescue individuals in danger of drowning or experiencing other emergencies.
• Administer first aid and CPR as required and maintain accurate reports of incidents.
• Engage with guests, offering assistance and educating them on pool safety rules.
• Inspect pool area and equipment daily to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Participate in staff training and emergency drills.
• Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guests' experiences.

Requirements

• Certification in Lifeguard Training, CPR, and First Aid.
• Previous experience as a Lifeguard in a resort or aquatic facility.
• Strong swimming skills and physical fitness.
• Excellent observational skills and the ability to remain alert at all times.
• Effective communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
