Job Description

In the role of Pool Attendant at Grand Hotel Timeo, you will be the guardian of our guests' relaxation and enjoyment around the pool area. You will be an essential part of our leisure team, ensuring a safe, clean, and inviting environment while providing attentive service. If you are vigilant, proactive, and dedicated to creating a serene and enjoyable experience for our guests, this is your moment.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising the pool area to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests, actively monitoring for potential hazards and enforcing pool rules.
  • Warmly greeting guests and assisting them with seating and general inquiries.
  • Distributing and collecting amenities such as towels, sunscreen, and other special touches to guests.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and tidiness of the pool deck, lounge chairs, and surrounding areas.
  • Setting up and tidying lounge chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas daily.
  • Reporting any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or guest concerns to the appropriate department.
  • Providing information about pool facilities, hotel services, and local attractions.
  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met seamlessly and promptly.
  • Anticipating guest needs to proactively enhance their pool experience.

Requirements

What You Bring:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably within a luxury hotel or resort environment.
  • A strong understanding of pool safety regulations and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic outdoor environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform duties such as lifting and moving pool furniture.
  • Fluent in Italian and English (both written and spoken).
  • Impeccable personal presentation and a positive, helpful attitude.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification is a significant advantage.
