Does the flexibility to work around school and life or the opportunity to add summer hours sound good to you? As part of the Y team you will play an important role ensuring the safety of our pool patrons and/or teaching kids to swim!

What else do you need?

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR C certification or Aquatic Emergency Care
• Ability to obtain YMCA Swim Instructor certification
• Clear Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check

Lifeguard

• NL certification

Asset: LSI (Lifesaving Instructor)

Swim Instructor

• Bronze Cross or Higher
• YMCA Swim (YSI) or Swim For Life Instructor (SFL)

Asset: LSI (Lifesaving Instructor)

The Y is entrusted to provide a safe environment for children and vulnerable individuals. All applicants will be thoroughly screened through a review process including Police Record Checks with Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Checks.
