Shake Shack is entering a new era of growth: accelerating Shack openings, expanding our footprint, and reimagining what loyalty and lifecycle marketing can be. As a member of our Lifecycle & Loyalty Growth team, the Lifecycle Marketing Offer Strategist will play a key role in developing and managing our digital offers to drive guest frequency and retention. The Strategist is responsible for ensuring our offer roadmap milestones are met, including discount optimization, offer ideation, testing, and execution across our owned and paid channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills in offer management and campaign execution at a high growth company. This is a highly collaborative role working cross-functionally with marketing, IT, brand and ops teams, and will play an instrumental part in creating a best-in-class offer management strategy.

Offer Optimization:

  • Support the setup and management of offer campaigns within our offer management, loyalty and marketing automation platforms.

  • Design and test data-driven offer frameworks that drive incremental traffic and revenue while improving promotional efficiency and reducing unnecessary discounting.

  • Establish governance, measurement standards, and guardrails to protect margin as owned channels and loyalty scale.

  • Balance short-term comp and traffic goals with long-term guest frequency and lifetime value strategies.

  • Identify and execute small optimizations across discount depth, targeting, and basket-building mechanics that translate into meaningful profit expansion and reinvestment capacity.

Analytics and Campaign reporting:

  • Analyze offer campaign data and provide detailed redemption reporting and insights to refine future strategy in partnership with analytics.

  • Deliver weekly offer performance reports and create an offer performance scorecard for key stakeholders

  • Create, maintain, and mature an offer management tracking plan

Lifecycle Strategy:

  • Improve & manage the formal intake process for new requests & work.

  • Partner on offer testing opportunities across existing guest lifecycle programs.

  • Strategize with cross-functional partners to support offer needs for paid media and regional marketing.

  • Test offer constructs across key guest cohorts to drive frequency, LTV & occasion-based trial.

Shake Shack

About Shake Shack

Shake Shack sprouted from a hot dog cart in Madison Square Park (NYC) to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s first art installation. The cart was quite the success, with Shack fans lined up daily for three summers.

In 2004, a permanent kiosk opened in the park: Shake Shack was born. This modern day “roadside” burger stand serves up the most delicious burgers, hot dogs, frozen custard, shakes, beer, wine and more. An instant neighborhood fixture, we welcomed people from all over the city, country and world who gathered together to enjoy fresh, simple, high-quality versions of the classics. The rest, as they say, is burger history.

And since day one, it would not have been possible without our stellar team! As a member of the #ShackFam, you can expect an exciting work atmosphere with a culture focused on family, fun and community.

We’re committed to providing equal opportunities for success, removing obstacles and fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion and empowerment to ensure that Shake Shack continues to be a great place to work. That’s why we’re so proud to have earned 100% on Human Right Campaign’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index for LGBTQ-inclusive workplace policies and practices, a designation that highlights the core of our ethos here at Shake Shack.
