Rolls Royce is seeking experienced Lifecycle Engineers to support a range of current and future opportunities across our Defence business.
Our engineering teams play a critical role in ensuring products are safe, reliable, supportable and cost-effective throughout their operational life. Working across product development, certification, in-service support and maintenance programmes, these teams help deliver engineering solutions that support operational readiness and long-term product performance.
We are interested in hearing from engineers with experience in safety engineering, reliability analysis, lifecycle engineering, equipment health management, maintenance strategy, overhaul methods and supportability.
Within Defence UK Life Cycle Engineers are responsible for providing in-service technical support of Defence products to ensure their safe, reliable and disruption free operation. In addition, you will bring a strong customer and engineering focus to influence the design and to affect the maturity of the product across the life cycle to meet customer and business needs.
Join the Lifecycle Engineering capability based in Bristol, United Kingdom.
In addition, you will contribute to developing support strategies around business, product, customer and industrial relationships; co-ordinate packages of work within a budget and represent the company. You will actively participate in a team to achieve deliverables.
Being a part of Rolls-Royce, we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. These principles form our behaviours. They are an essential component of our assessment process and are fundamental qualities that we seek for all roles.

Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets we can only progress applications from individuals who are a UK national or, in MOD and Government body approved cases, a dual national.
Closing date: 22nd September 2026
As part of our selection process, candidates in certain locations may be asked to complete an online assessment, which can include cognitive and behavioural aptitude testing relevant to the role. If required, full instructions for the next steps will be provided.
