The Life Solutions Internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning from experienced professionals within USAA's Life organization. Through meaningful work assignments, coaching, and mentorship, you'll develop the skills and knowledge needed to help members protect their financial future through life insurance solutions.
As a Life Solutions Specialist Intern, you'll support efforts to deliver exceptional member service by understanding member needs, educating members on life insurance options, and assisting with solutions that align with their financial goals. You may also provide support for Health Solutions acquisition and retention activities based on member demand.
Our internship program is designed to help you build professional skills, expand your industry knowledge, and gain real-world experience in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. Interns work closely with managers, mentors, and business partners while contributing to meaningful business initiatives.
The Life Solutions Specialist Internship will be based at both our Plano, Texas office and Tampa, Florida office this summer. Interns offered full-time roles may have the opportunity to work out of one of USAA’s satellite locations in addition to our USAA headquarters in San Antonio, Texas.

To be eligible, you must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and plan to graduate after the completion of the internship.
Our Summer 2027 Internship Program runs from June 2, 2027, through August 13, 2027.
Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $25 - $33. Interns will receive an intern stipend to assist with expenses.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.
Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
