Equitable is seeking a dynamic and influential Life Sales Desk Manager to join our team. This role provides strategic leadership and hands-on direction for all aspects of the Life Sales Desk, a core function responsible for driving life insurance sales and meeting critical sales objectives.

The Life Sales Desk Manager will lead a high-performing team that delivers exceptional outbound sales support and solutions to Financial Professionals (FPs) across multiple sales channels. This position plays a key role in strengthening distribution relationships, advancing sales effectiveness, and supporting the broader sales organization.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with an on-site presence of 2-3 days per week combining flexibility with team collaboration.

What You'll Be Doing

Responsibilities

• Enhance the quality and effectiveness of Life Sales Desk efforts to deliver exceptional outbound sales activity and comprehensive support to Financial Professionals across multiple sales channels

• Cultivate strong relationships between Equitable Distributors Life distribution and Financial Professionals by consistently exceeding FP expectations and adding value on every interaction

• Maintain high service levels while fostering superior performance standards across the Sales Desk team

• Support the external sales force management team and assist Financial Professionals throughout all stages of the sales process

• Drive consistency, accountability, and alignment with sales objectives and organizational priorities

The base salary for this position is $100,000. This role is eligible for variable compensation.

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• 3 years of Internal Wholesaling or Sales Desk experience

• FINRA Series 6 or 7 and Series 63 registrations

• FINRA Series 26 registration or the willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

• Resident Life and Variable insurance license, plus Non-Resident Life and Variable insurance licenses (all states and Puerto Rico), or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire

Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of the organization's industry group, trends, directions, major issues, regulatory considerations, and trendsetters; ability to apply industry knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.

Knowledge of Product Line: Knowledge of methodologies, tools and techniques for specific products; ability to develop product line processes and strategies.

Knowledge of Sales Channels: Knowledge of meanings and features of sales channels; ability to coordinate multiple and diverse options for selling an organization's products and services.

Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.

Strategic Sales Planning: Knowledge of sales principles, processes, techniques and tools; ability to develop sales plans that are future-oriented, support business strategy and reflect understanding of emerging, as well as existing, opportunities and markets.

Agile Project Management: Knowledge of effective agile project management strategies and tactics; ability to plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of technical and administrative resources to achieve project objectives.
