Kingsway Retirement Living is seeking an experienced, creative, and compassionate Life Enrichment Manager to lead and direct our Life Enrichment Department.
This leadership role is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing engaging programs for our Independent and Assisted Living residents in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations.  The Life Enrichment Manager ensures ongoing, resident-centered programming that supports the physical, social, emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being of each resident.

What You’ll Do
- Plan, develop, implement, and oversee daily Life Enrichment programs and special events
- Develop and manage the monthly Life Enrichment calendar, collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of activities and events
- Support, coordinate and communicate activities for both our Independent Living and Assisted Living residents
- Encourage resident engagement through small and large group programming
- Coordinate logistics, transportation, and supervision for resident outings to locations such as grocery stores, retail centers, and seasonal community events
- Manage seasonal and holiday decorating to enhance the resident experience and create a festive, inviting atmosphere
- Supervise, schedule, and support Life Enrichment staff and volunteers
- Serve as Resident Council Advisor
- Participate in surveys and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation of programs and resident participation
- Manage department supplies, equipment, and budget
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in senior living, healthcare, or recreation programming
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- An outgoing, friendly, and personable individual who can easily connect with residents and build meaningful relationships

Required Qualifications (Must Meet One of the Following)
The activities program must be directed by a qualified professional who:
- Is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS); OR
- Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, including 1 year full-time in a resident activities program in a healthcare setting; OR
- Is a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT); OR
- Is a qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA); OR
- Has completed a state-approved training course for activities professionals

Work Environment
- Daytime schedule
- Office and healthcare-setting environment
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and twisting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
