Lien Analyst Assistant

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

We are seeking a motivated Lien Analyst Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who wants to get started in the legal profession and learn aspects of personal injury law.

As a Lien Analyst Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to Lien Analysts in our Medical Lien Negotiations department. Working closely with our Lien Analysts at the conclusion of a personal injury case to coordinate the payment of medical liens to our providers and disburse settlements to our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Lien Analysts with the organization of medical bills and liens at the conclusion of the personal injury case.
• Verify the balance of medical bills with all providers and have providers bill insurance accordingly, if necessary.
• Assist with the preparation of legal documents, including closing documents to clients.
• Maintain accurate client records, ensuring they are kept up to date.
• Identify any errors or discrepancies in medical billing and assist in correction.

Qualifications:

• Must be highly motivated and detail oriented.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
• Previous experience in a legal or administrative role is a plus.
• Familiarity with personal injury law and the legal process is a plus, but not required.
