Job Description

Prime Retail Services is a nationwide retail construction General Contractor helping brands bring their spaces to life with precision and professionalism. Since 2003, we’ve delivered retail construction solutions for Fortune 500 companies and growing brands across the United States and Canada.

Prime Retail Services Licensing & Permits Coordinator is responsible for preparing applications and tracking the permitting and licensing process by providing coordination between the engineering design team, developer, and regulatory agencies.

This position is on site at our Flowery Branch office 5 days a week. Mon- Friday during business hours.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain agency relationships and provide input to the team regarding meeting project demands and schedules
  • Coordinate and follow up on all required permits and licensing
  • Complete permitting process to include licensing registrations, all drawings, applications, and fees
  • Submit and coordinate building permits and licensing
  • Coordinate plan review, approval, and closure with agencies
  • Update staff regarding changes in regulatory requirements
  • Act as a liaison between regulatory agencies and general contractors
  • Attend project meetings if necessary, includes effectively presenting information, responding to questions, and interacting professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Meet Deadlines as required, multi-task, appropriately prioritize workflow
  • Administrative work as necessary, including producing spreadsheets for project tracking
  • Additional duties as necessary and/or required by supervisor

  • Highly proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
  • Service-oriented self-starter and team player with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Excellent formatting, editing, spelling, and proofreading skills
  • Ability to compose email and business correspondence at an advanced level
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of the organization
  • Detailed, process oriented, and a problem solver

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience performing administrative duties, including the research, analysis, and preparation of written reports and statements
  • Experience with strong communication, organizational responsibilities, and team collaboration
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education/experience
  • Associate's degree preferred
