The Licensing and Acquisitions Librarian plays a vital role at the Auraria Library by serving as the library's expert on license agreements between vendors, publishers, and other related service providers. This position is responsible for overseeing the review, negotiation, and collection management of the library’s resources subscribed or purchased in collaboration with the University of Colorado Libraries. The Licensing and Acquisitions Librarian is responsible for staying closely attuned to developments and challenges in library collection strategies and licensing and consistently advocating for the best possible terms and pricing.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $$61,350 - $67,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.This position is/is not eligible for overtime compensation.
