Pay rate: $35.00 hourly

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 respite care for families of a child or adult with developmental disabilities
• Gastronomy Tube (g-tube) Care and Feeding
• Take vital signs and administer medication
• Trach Care (very rarely, do not need to have experience in this)
• Check blood sugar and administer insulin injection
• Seizure Management – may need to give medication if ordered and ensure safety
• Document on nursing notes every visit
• Be a support to clients and their family members
• Monitor and report changes in client care and/or behavior

Qualifications

• Active CA. LVN License
• Must have 1+ year of professional experience as a licensed vocational nurse
• CPR certification
• Physical within the last 6 months and recent TB test
• Current TB test, current physical, Valid CPR card and First Aide
• Clear criminal background
