Your Impact & Responsibilities

As an LVN at City View Post-Acute, you will provide essential nursing care while helping ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and individualized care.

  • Clinical Care: Provide high-quality nursing care in accordance with physician orders, care plans, and facility protocols.
  • Resident Monitoring: Observe residents, monitor changes in condition, and promptly communicate concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Medication & Treatments: Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with nursing leadership, RNs, CNAs, rehabilitation staff, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and communicate resident progress effectively.
  • Resident Advocacy: Build positive relationships with residents and families while promoting dignity, safety, and quality of life.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Current and valid California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clinical Skills: Ability to follow nursing standards, physician orders, and facility protocols.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
  • Experience: Skilled nursing or post-acute experience is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Attitude: Compassionate, dependable, motivated, and committed to providing excellent resident care.
