About You:
· You are a Veterinary Technician (or Experienced Veterinary Assistant) with outstanding client service skills and excellent patient care
· Quick on your feet, you are a dynamic and efficient worker who contributes to the operation of the entire hospital, helping to get all the day’s duties done!
· You understand that clear, effective communication among clients and team members is a priority and are dedicated to make a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
· You have a strong foundational understanding and can perform the basic responsibilities of a veterinary technician including (but not limited to):
o Patient assessment and physical examinations
o Phlebotomy and catheter placement
o Knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
o Anesthesia monitoring proficiency
o Perioperative surgical nursing skills
o Routine dental prophylaxis experience
o Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures
Anticipated Schedule (TBD):
· Full time positions include 4 – 10hr shifts
· Rotating weekend duties
· Part-time opportunities may be available
· Hospital hours are:
o Tuesday – Friday 9am-6pm
o Saturday: 9am – 3pm
Compensation: $20-$35/hr depending on licensing and/or experience.
