The Virginia Veterinary Centers in Short Pump, VA is hiring an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Dentistry Team!
We offer a $3,000 sign- on bonus for qualified Licensed Veterinary Technicians! 

Compensation:
  • Starting at $30/hr  (& up!) - based on experience, skill set, & certification
Schedule:
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 
  • 3/12- hour shifts per week (7am - 7pm)

- Hands-on experience with  advanced diagnostic imaging (CT, MR, EKG, BP, SPO2)

Your Role:
  • Assist veterinarians in advanced  anesthetic procedures, including pre-medication, intubation, surgical prep, and monitoring
  • Perform  diagnostic sample collection, imaging, and lab submissions
  • Maintain and place IV catheters, ensuring proper patient care
  • Accurately  administer and document controlled substances 
  • Provide  compassionate client communication, from triage to discharge
  •  Ensure proper  medical record documentation and  OSHA compliance

Position Requirements:
  • Veterinary Technician License (required)
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Proven ability to multi- task in a fast pace setting
  • Strong sense of compassion and empathy for patients and clients 
  • Strong anesthesia skills
