Are you a licensed psychologist who enjoys working with children and families, conducting meaningful assessments, and helping other clinicians grow?

We’re seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our collaborative pediatric outpatient team in South Asheville. This is an opportunity to focus on high-quality psychological assessment while working alongside Psychology, Behavioral Health, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology providers.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and developmental assessments for children and adolescents.
  • Complete interviews, observations, standardized testing, interpretation, and integrated reports.
  • Provide clear, compassionate feedback and practical recommendations to families and referring providers.
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, SLPs, behavioral health therapists, and other pediatric providers.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Licensed Psychological Associates (LPAs).
  • Train and mentor practicum students, interns, and emerging clinicians.
  • Participate in case consultation and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Collaborate across clinic, school, and telehealth settings.
  • Stay current with evidence-based assessment practices.
  • Pursue opportunities for clinical leadership and career advancement.

Who We're Looking For

We’re looking for a psychologist who is:

  • Licensed as a Psychologist in North Carolina
  • Experienced in or enthusiastic about pediatric psychological/developmental assessment
  • Interested in supervision, mentoring, and student training
  • Collaborative and energized by multidisciplinary care
  • A strong communicator who can translate assessment findings into meaningful, practical recommendations
  • Organized, thoughtful, and committed to high-quality clinical care
  • Interested in growing within an organization that values clinical excellence and clinician well-being

Requirements

  • Master’s-level Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Psychological Associate
  • Licensed (or license-eligible) in North Carolina
  • Experience with psychological and/or psychoeducational assessments preferred
  • Strong pediatric candidates eager to grow in assessment are encouraged to apply
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
