Examples of duties

This position focuses on providing psychological services, developing treatment plans, and supporting patient progress in an inpatient setting. The role requires clinical judgment, teamwork, and careful documentation across all treatment activities. As a Licensed Psychologist, you will perform the following duties:

  • Clinical Evaluation: Assess patient strengths and needs through interviews, history reviews, observations, and psychological testing
  • Diagnostic Assessment: Select, administer, and interpret psychological tests to diagnose conditions and guide treatment plans
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with staff to develop, update, and support individualized treatment plans and behavioral strategies
  • Therapeutic Services: Provide individual and group therapy sessions to support emotional and behavioral improvement
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in treatment team meetings, share recommendations, and discuss patient progress
  • Professional Contribution: Attend trainings, mentor staff when needed, and contribute to departmental initiatives and committees

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

  • You must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
