The Psych Emergency Access Center is the evaluation and transfer center for the psychiatric population in all of our entity emergency departments. The LPC performs direct evaluations to determine admission or discharge. Patients are seen both in-person and telemedicine. It is a very fast-paced environment as patients from all entities are seen within one hour of referral time. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, reliable, a critical thinker, have a crisis background, have strong passion for the psychiatric population, and be a self-starter. The position requires someone with availability during the week and on weekends to cover days and nights.Shifts are typically 12 hours.It is both telemedicine in Shaker Heights, and in-person at our Cleveland Medical Center.
