The Psych Emergency Access Center is the evaluation and transfer center for the psychiatric population in all of our entity emergency departments. The LPC performs direct evaluations to determine admission or discharge. Patients are seen both in-person and telemedicine. It is a very fast-paced environment as patients from all entities are seen within one hour of referral time. The ideal candidate will be autonomous, reliable, a critical thinker, have a crisis background, have strong passion for the psychiatric population, and be a self-starter. The position alternates between telemedicine in Shaker Heights, and in-person at our Cleveland Medical Center. It is 36 hours per week, rotating day/nights. The schedule is (3) 12 hour shifts per week: Mon-Fri, with rotating weekends and holidays.
