We are looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to add to our team!

A Day in The Life as a Licensed Practical Nurse

At Pathway, our Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct physical and emotional support to children in residential treatment for mental/ behavioral health concerns. The Nursing staff participate in children’s care as part of a multidisciplinary team. LPNs perform initial and on-going assessments; coordinate medication management care; conduct nursing education groups; respond to physical wellness concerns of residents. Nursing staff acts as a consultant with direct care staff and doctors in assisting with the physical wellbeing of our children.

We want someone who takes a trauma informed approach as they collaborate with clients, families, and other team members.   • Being licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Kansas is a requirement of this position.
  • This is an in-office position.
  • Schedule may be flexible and determined in collaboration with the Lead Nurse and facility administration in order for the team to cover all needs of a 24/7 residential facility.
  • Must be 21 years of age and 3 years older than the oldest resident.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and must meet agency underwriting standards while driving agency or personal vehicle to transport clients. Must have drivers' insurance.
  • Must be eligible for credentialing with Kansas Medicaid for billing needs.
