Job Description

Salary Pay Range: $36.01/hr. - $46.31/hr.

Essential Functions:

  • Assists medical professional staff in providing medical care to patients of the medical
  • Assists in the management of resident patient services; adhering to regulatory principles and the oversight of policies and procedures for the care of the elder and disabled
  • Functions under established routines for urgent care services to provide nursing care within scope of practice.
  • Obtains patient intake information pertaining to visit to include chief complaint, vital signs, and

  • Administers and documents injections per written/verbal order to include immunizations, allergy injections, other therapeutic injectable medications, and assesses patient response.

Education, Experience, and Licenses:

  • Requires a current Oregon LPN
  • A minimum of three (3) years’ experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a minimum of one

(1) year experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Driving Requirements:

  • Employees may be required to drive for work-related purposes and must maintain a valid Oregon

Driver’s License (ODL), meet company vehicle insurance requirements, and provide proof of personal vehicle insurance.

Qualifications, Registrations, and Certifications:

  • Current CPR/BLS
  • Must be detail oriented with ability to handle high patient

  • Must have knowledge and experience in use of computerized electronic health records and software applications.

  • Adherences to the organization’s policies and procedures covering the privacy, access, and

patient health information in compliance with Federal and state laws.

Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:

  • This position is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions.
  • Supports a safe work environment by performing all duties in accordance with Tribal safety policies and procedures, and Emergency Management Plan.
  • Due to the nature of the interactions with other employees and the public we serve, employees may be required to provide documentation of, or receive, certain health vaccinations.
  • May be called upon to serve as a Disaster Reservist during emergencies.
  • Local travel is occasionally required. Travel outside of the state is infrequently required.
