Third Shift (United States of America)As an LPN at Roswell Park, you will contribute to high‑quality oncology care while collaborating with expert clinicians in a mission‑driven setting.
About the Role:
The LPN provides patient care, health teaching, and counseling in an oncology environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed independent provider. This role supports individualized patient care and assists patients in adapting to their diagnosis while working toward the highest possible level of wellness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver routine nursing care and clinical procedures
- Perform patient screening, venipuncture, and monitoring of plateletpheresis and whole‑blood donor procedures
- Ensure donor and product safety while maintaining compliance with all State and Federal regulations
- Participate in patient and donor education and counseling
- Support quality, safety, and care‑coordination initiatives
- Engage in ongoing professional development through trainings, workshops, and continuing education
Starting hourly rate is $27.05

Required Education and Experience
License Requirement
License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school’s LPN program.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
