About Signature Orthopedics by Sheridan
Signature Orthopedics by Sheridan is part of Sheridan Community Hospital, a trusted community-based healthcare organization. We are expanding specialty services into the Grand Rapids area to provide accessible, high-quality orthopedic care with a strong focus on patient experience and teamwork.
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of providers and RNs
- Perform patient intake, including vital signs and medical history review
- Assist providers with orthopedic exams and procedures
- Support injections, splinting, dressing changes, and patient preparation
- Administer medications within LPN scope of practice
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate patient flow, referrals, and follow-up care
- Educate patients on treatment plans and care instructions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Support a positive, patient-centered clinic experience
What We-re Looking For
- Current Michigan Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Previous clinic or outpatient experience preferred
- Orthopedic experience not required—training provided
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional approach
