Job Description

Full Time - Daylight - Altoona, PA

LPN License and valid Driver's License required

Senior LIFE is currently seeking LPNs to fill a full time, permanent, position at Senior LIFE. The ideal candidate will hold a current state of Pennsylvania LPN license, valid driver's license, and must have one year's experience working specifically with an elderly or aging population.

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Must have a current state of Pennsylvania LPN License
  • Must have a valid Driver's License

Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

  • Provide high quality nursing care to members, as prescribed by the physician and approved care plan
  • Implementing care and other services following a thorough member assessment and approved plan initiated by the RN
  • Providing accurate and timely documentation of all member services to reflect approved care plans

At the center of this mission is the nursing staff, including Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who provide direct and indirect care to assigned members, both in-home and in-center. This position requires a motivated self-starter who can work effectively and independently, as well as in partnership with medical and non-medical personnel, to deliver the most comprehensive care available. As such, nurse candidates must have strong clinical competency and advanced knowledge/skills.
