NaphCare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a Full-time Day Shift opportunity at the Montgomery County Detention Facility in Montgomery, Alabama. This position includes competitive pay plus shift differential and is a great opportunity for nurses looking for flexible weekend hours while gaining experience in a unique and rewarding healthcare setting.
As a Correctional Nurse, you will work alongside correctional officers and a multidisciplinary medical team to provide quality care to individuals in custody. In this fast-paced, structured environment, you’ll perform assessments, administer medications, manage chronic conditions, and respond to urgent medical needs while making a meaningful impact on a patient population with complex healthcare needs.

Physical Capabilities:
Must have the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move patients (up to 50 pounds), bend, squat, reach, push, pull, walk significant distances, and perform physically demanding tasks like CPR, all while maintaining good balance and endurance throughout a shift.
