Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct resident care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians.
- Administer medications and treatments according to supervisory orders.
- Monitor residents' vital signs and assess their condition.
- Conduct medication checks.
- Accurately document resident information, treatments, and responses to care.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive resident care.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and protocols for nursing care.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Requirements:
- Valid New Jersey LPN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of geriatric nursing particularly in sub-acute care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of and commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements.
- CPR and BLS certifications.
- Flu vaccination required.
