This is not your typical clinic role — you’ll be part of a mobile oncology unit delivering breast and prostate screenings where they’re needed most.
🌟 What You’ll Do:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) on our mobile unit, you’ll play a vital role in patient-centered oncology care:
- Provide direct patient care in a mobile oncology setting
- Deliver health education and counseling to support patients through screening and care journeys
- Perform venipuncture, screenings, and routine nursing procedures
- Partner with an RN and provider team to individualize patient care plans
- Help patients navigate and adapt to their healthcare needs with compassion and confidence
- Travel throughout Buffalo & Niagara Counties bringing care into the community

Required Education and Experience
License Requirement
License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school’s LPN program.
NOTE:
Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate brings prior experience in a hospital setting, such as ambulatory care or acute care, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills are essential, along with the ability to perform clinical screenings with confidence and accuracy. Experience in community outreach or patient engagement is highly valued, as this role requires a compassionate, proactive approach to delivering care outside of traditional clinical settings and building meaningful connections with diverse patient populations.
