Licensed Practical Nurse - Acute Endoscopy

Location: Buffalo, NY

Contract- 13 weeks

Day Shift

$38/hr

WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Acute Endoscopy team. In this role, you will provide nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for endoscopic procedures, including monitoring vital signs and explaining procedures.
• Assist physicians and healthcare team during endoscopic examinations and treatments.
• Monitor patient status and report any changes promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and post-procedure care as directed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential.
• 2 Years of OP Endoscopy required
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EPIC experience required
