Job Description: Promotes health and healing by functioning as a member of the care team to provide optimum care for convalescent, acutely/chronically ill, home care and long-term care clients/patients/residents.

Education

• Practical Nursing diploma

Licenses

• College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan

Membership

• College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan (CLPNS)

Knowledge and Abilities

• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize urgent client needs
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office programs (Word/Excel/Outlook)
• Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ability to work independently to plan and prioritize workload demands
• Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice

• Valid driver's license, where required
• IV Course Certification required or willing to obtain within six months at your own expense.
