
A Physical Therapist Assistant is an individual licensed by the Texas board of Physical Therapy Examiners. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy services to patients in accordance with an established physician plan of care and in compliance with applicable licensre/certification requipremetns, the Texas State Practice Act, and Hunt Memorial Hospital District policies and procedures.
Minimum Education: Must maintain continuing education requirements as defined by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Minimum Work Experience: No experience is required.
Required Licenses/Certifications: Evidence of current licensure and CPR certification.
Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to meet minimum hiring standards.
